Liver diseases in children are very rare but serious and serious Diseases that require immediate treatment.

Alagille syndrome, biliary atresia and PFIC are congenital cholestatic Liver diseases in children and are among the rare diseases. A disease is described as “rare” if no more than five in 10,000 people are affected. Experts believe that with biliary atresia about one in 18,000, for PFIC and Alagille syndrome one in 80,000 to 100,000 newborns are affected.
